The first release on Kissability, a cassette label (see, told you they’re coming back into fashion) collaboration between Transgressive Records and Radio 1 in Wales renaissance woman Jen Long (who we got a playlist off back in the day), is Ruined My Life EP by Brisbane’s DZ Deathrays. Think Death From Above 1979 without the electro leanings, quite so far into the red distortion or fidelity range, and you’re left with an energetically agile duo wild-eyed straining at the leash.
